This command allows you to split a column into one or more columns based on a variety of criteria.

The following split column options are available.

Text Columns

• Split From Left Hand Side
• Split From Right Hand Side
• Split From Middle
• Split Column Into Words

  You can specify two characters that will be used as the delimiter. The delimiter characters

Numeric Columns

• Split Debit and Credit Values

  Positive and zero values will be stored in the debit column and negative values will be stored in the credits column.

Date Columns

• Split Year Into New Column
• Split Month Into New Column
• Split Day Into New Column
• Split Day Of Week Into New Column
