The global find and replace feature allows you to search and then optionally replace data in
all of the Excel files that are found in the path that you specify.
Global Find and Replace
To begin, enter the search location. Select the type of data to search and then enter what you are looking for.
Select the desired options and then click the Find button. ActiveData will search through all of the workbooks in the location specified for your term. Any matches are displayed in the results grid at the bottom of the dialog.
Once you have matches in the results grid, you can use the replace function to change all (or some) of the occurances to the value you specify in the "Replace With:" field. Make sure the Confirm Replacements box is checked so you will be asked to OK every change.
Use the Replace feature carefully, as there is no way to undo the changes once they are made.
