Digital Analysis is a tool that looks for the abnormal occurrences digits that violate Benford's Law, which predicts statistically how these digits should be present in your transactional data.
Column To Analyze
Specify the amount column to analyze.
Include Stratified Analysis
If checked then a stratification will be included in the resulting worksheet. Click on the Bands button to specify the stratum ranges. See the Strata command for more information on stratification.
Chart Results
If this option is checked then a chart will be included for each of the digital tests selected.

- Open ActiveData's Sample Workbook
- Select the Invoices sheet
- Select Digital Analysis from the ActiveData Menu
- Select Amount as the column to analyze
- Check the First Digit and First Two Digits tests in the Digital Tests section.
- Click Finished.
